We Teach Tiny Humans About Jesus! — Crawlers through Grade 5 Sundays at 9:07 & 11:07 AM
What To Expect On Sunday
When you enter, our greeters can show you to our Kids on Mission area, or you can follow the signs to check-in. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!
Kids on Mission runs during both Sunday services — 9:07 AM and 11:07 AM — every week at Stonewater Fellowship, 9380 FM306, New Braunfels, TX 78132. First-time families: we recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to allow extra time for check-in. After that first Sunday, the process takes just a few minutes and your kids will know exactly where to go.
Kids Check-In and Safety
Volunteers at Stonewater Kids on Mission are trained to create an atmosphere where parents can confidently hand off their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kids hallway is monitored by personnel. As part of the check-in process, we’ll get your contact information so if there is any issue, we’ll text or call you. After service bring your check-in slip back to the kids area for check-out.
Every volunteer serving in Kids on Mission has passed a thorough background check — it is a non-negotiable requirement for anyone working with children at Stonewater. The kids hallway is monitored throughout the entire service, not just at drop-off and pick-up. Your child's safety is our highest priority every single Sunday.
Kids Love Stonewater
When your kids join us on Sundays, they'll experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at Kids On Mission is to help all kids understand who Jesus is and what he did for us. And they’ll have fun learning and growing with us!
Kids on Mission serves children from 18 months through Grade 5 with age-specific classrooms for Nursery and Toddlers (18 months–age 3), Pre-K (ages 4–5), and Elementary (Kindergarten through Grade 5). Each group meets with trained coaches who specialize in that stage of development — so your child gets teaching that actually connects with where they are.
Kids on Mission in New Braunfels, TX
Kids on Mission is Stonewater Fellowship's children's ministry — built on the belief that faith foundations formed in childhood last a lifetime. We are not a babysitting service while parents sit in service. We are a fully intentional children's church experience where kids encounter Jesus in a way that is age-appropriate, fun, and genuinely transformative.
Families from across the New Braunfels area — including Gruene, Canyon Lake, Bulverde, and Spring Branch — bring their kids to Stonewater specifically because of what happens in Kids on Mission on Sunday mornings. When your kids love church, the whole family comes back.
What makes Kids on Mission different:
- Teaching is interactive and uses multiple approaches — storytelling, music, activities, and discussion — to connect with different learning styles
- Every lesson is age-appropriate and tied to the same biblical series the adults are experiencing in the main service
- Volunteers are background-checked, trained, and genuinely passionate about kids
- Safety protocols are thorough — secure check-in and check-out, monitored hallways, and direct contact if you are ever needed
