Scott Richerson

Lead Pastor & Elder

Scott and his wife Brandi live in New Braunfels and are the parents of 6 children. Growing up in Arlington Texas, Scott was a Sr. in high school, working a Christmas seasonal job when he heard the Gospel and placed his faith in Jesus.

Pastoral History

In 2010 Scott began to answer the call to ministry that God had placed on him; preaching multiple times a month among the homeless community of Ft Worth at the Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County. He also began preaching for local pastors in their absence in churches across North Texas.

By 2012 Scott was called as the bi-vocational Pastor of Gateway Church in Granbury, Texas and that same year was privileged to preach internationally in Honduras and Mexico. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Scott and Brandi moved to the Hill Country in mid 2015. They both have a deep conviction for making multiplying disciples of Jesus.

In early 2017, Scott and Brandi answered God’s calling to step out in faith to serve Jesus as the lead Pastor of a new church plant, Stonewater Fellowship. After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
